Community involvement in research has been a successful formula for the Jackson Heart Study (JHS).  These lay summaries are presented as a way to continue to involve our cohort, community and students in the ongoing research of the JHS.  The summaries are “lay language” translations of JHS publications.  Complete articles can be viewed  at JHS Publications.
